The next 30 days of my life doing the Isagenix Cleanse. Maybe this will give me the momentum to keep it up - and maybe you'll find something that interests you.

Thank God it's Friday!

Well another week down and only 2 days to my next Cleanse. I'm actually looking forward to it...not looking forward to the drinks but just the overall 'good' feeling. Managed to squeeze (literally) into my favourite pair of jeans that fit me nicely last year...so that's kinda cool. Can't quite bend over without that little 'love' hanging out but whatev...it's going away slowly.

Last night I got a great new workout with my trainer so I'm going to start a schedule to do that weight training...it's 3 days a week and the other days i will either run or walk.

All coming together...and i'm not starving or feeling deprived. Had a little craving for my coffee this morning but am having a green tea instead. I know that tomorrow I will have my decaf latte and maybe popcorn at the movie we're going to so i'm trying to very careful before that.

Wednesday - today was a good day!!

Well I ate very well today, actually replaced my dinner with a shake, although the shake and the 'pita break' that I had were quite filling and yummy.

So we just took my measurements and guess what!? Nope, didn't lose a pound yet but i've lost some inches...check this out! I'm so happy.

Tuesday - 25 days to go :(

Feel like I'm losing steam...I think it's all the energy I'm using to come up with healthy, tasty and creative meals to keep under 1200 calories a day. It's very hard.

What I ate today;
Breakfast:
1Banana, 1c. Blueberries, for my shake.
Lunch:
Mixed salad greens, Tomatoes,Cucumber, green pepper, beets, egg and a can of Salmon, canned
Snack: I forgot to have my shake and by the time I remembered it was too close to dinner
Dinner:
Chicken Cacciatore (5 oz breast with about a cup of the tomatoes
1.5 cRice, brown,
0.5c Peas
After dinner: I was stressed so I had ONE little cookie. Just one, I promise. :)
and then I had an orange later

Total Calories: 1322 Fat: 25g Carbs: 181g Protein 100g

I look at this and think wow, that's lot of food - all good food but quite a bit of food, so why the heck am I still hungry!

See this is when I wish I could find another blog like this where people would actually post their daily menu with different of ideas of what worked.

I'm actually thinking of doing the replacing 2 meals a day a couple of days a week...I'll speak with my cleanse coach and see what she recommends.

Ate too much yesterday...

Well I just finished calculating my calories yesterday and was at 1593, which happens to be almost 400 calories over my maximum of 1200. OOPS! I'm hoping that the bootcamp I did last night will even that all out. At least all the food I ate was pretty healthy...here's my list

Chicken breast sandwich with 2 slices whole wheat
Mustard
Apple
Cucumber, raw
Strawberry Soy yogurt
Banana (added it to my afternoon shake before bootcamp)
Chicken, breast,
Noodles, cooked, whole wheat, fat not added in cooking Olive oil
Pita Break


I'm loving the banana and blueberries in the shakes but I need to keep on top the calories.

Monday - After the cleanse

Well I was up this morning with my hubby 2 be at 6:10 and felt really good. Normally I am really tired but even though we went to bed late last night I felt rested, and at work this am I am actually feeling energetic...(figured I'd take the couple of minutes to write how good I'm feeling).
I had a bit of a headache this am, but had my shake with blueberries and strawberries, and all the other things I gotta take. Brought some roasted chicken for a nice chicken sandwich - which I can't wait to eat today.
I like the way the Cleanse made me feel - I feel smaller today although other than peeing there was no a whole lot of eliminating going on yesterday so I'm not really sure what's being cleansed so much. LOL

I'll have to figure that out.

First ALL Cleanse day!

Sunday -


Tried to sleep in as late as I could so my day would be shorter (remember this is a day with NO FOOD at all). So I got up at 8:30 or so. I had my Isagenix Supreme, and my Accelerator. Then I had my first 4 ounces of the Isogenix Cleanse - tropical fruit drink. I took the 4 oz and added it to 8oz of cold water.

Oh my god, it was freakin awful. I'm not one to complain about taste, ever...I pretty much am open to all kinds of new tastes and flavours but this - I can't even imagine that they call it tropical, but whatever - I drank it.

I timed my day out so that 2 hours after that I would have two of the Isagenix snacks..and when I took them I was starving but they honestly curbed my appetite until my next drink at 12:30.

At 12:30 it was time for another 4oz of that stuff, so this time I decided to do it in shooters....figured if I used to do Tequilas so easily back in my party days, this can't be much different....so 4 good shots back and my 8oz of water. I think my face stayed twisted for at least a good three minutes on this one.

We went shopping in the afternoon so I brought 2 more Snacks and had those around 2:30 which held me over for my next drink at 4:30.

4:30 Downed 4 more shots. BAM!

At 7:00 I allowed myself the snacks that are recommended if I was really hungry...So i ate 2 hard boiled eggs. So yummy. Yes, really they are yummy.

At 8:30 I took my last 4 shots for the day.
Then my 2 Isagenix flush.

Can't believe I did the whole day and did not cheat once and I didn't feel all that bed. Kept busy. When hubby stopped at the hot dog vendor outside of Best Buy, I just went into the store and knew he'd manage to polish off the dog before I saw him again. I stayed out of the kitchen when anyone else was eating so I wouldn't even pick. I didn't do any exercise today, other than some store browsing cause I wasn't sure how my belly would react to the cleanse day...but other than having to pee alot it was not bad. I like the Sundays for the Cleanse.

I can see that the drink part will grow on me after a while, cause the last shooters I was doing weren't as bad. Maybe I was delirious from hunger, who knows! LOL

Day 3&4 - last Pre-cleanse Days

Now the real fun begins..LOL.

I haven't written much in the last couple of days. It's been ok. My tummy has been a little rumble but I think it happens more when I eat something that is not that good for me...ie: popcorn (tonight). Had to get it out of my system. It was the one thing I didn't get to have before the package came.

today I had my 2 shakes, but I also had a yummy 'green tea latte with soy milk' after my training session this am. Oh my god, that was good.

I guess I was lettting myself go for the day, considering I knew tomorrow was going to be very hard...I was giving myself my reward ahead of time. LOL

This is why I never lose weight...I lose my steam so quickly. Well let's see tomorrow if this gets me motivated - I'm looking forward to feeling a little cleaner. So far I haven't felt that yet.

No food tomorrow - All day long! EEK! Well I guess all the stuff I have has enough of the nutrients but just the thought of not eating..wowee! I am going to have the cleanest house in the neighbourhood just because I need to keep busy. :D

Aftre tomorrow - 30 more days to go I guess...officially.
