Day 1 - 30 day Isagenxi cleansing

Hi, This is my first ever blog.

What prompted to write one was that I couldn't find many 'real accounts' of people who are trying to lose weight using the Isagenix Cleansing System. Most of what I found was biased to the person selling the product.
Although I signed up as an associate as well (means i can sell it), I really did that mostly because the cost is much lower that way.

I thought that maybe creating a blog would be a great way for me to keep my incentive going AND might be helpful to someone else out there who may be inquiring into the similar product.

I am going to be very honest about my experience with this 30 day cleanse.

If you have any comments or questions, i will answer them to the best of my knowledge.

Enjoy the read!

Why am I using the cleanse ? I'd love to say it's because I'm feeling sluggish (i really am) or because i was not sleeping well but the honest answer is I really only looked at it to start me off to lose some weight...not too much weight, but just that little extra 'love' i've seemed to gather over the last few years. It's quite annoying to be honest. I can't fit in comfortably to most of my clothes at this point. I probably could stand to lose anywhere from 15-20 lbs. That's about it. Usually the hardest to lose.

Yesterday my package that I ordered last week came in - so i know i would be starting the cleanse today.
Last night I enjoyed an amazing steak that my wonderful hubby-to-be bbq'd for us and also some olives and some feta. Also polished off a little more than half a bottle of wine...figured i may as well since I will be off all that stuff for the next month. I was pretty excited about starting today. Read all the documentation they provided...looked at the big box of bottles they sent me. It was kind of fun

So because this is my first time using the system, I was advised to do the 4 day cleansing (the package says 2 but my cleansing coach suggested 4). This gets your system prepared i guess.
This morning, I had my first shake (Vanilla) and added a small handful of frozen blueberries. Then I had a 2 oz shot of the Cleanse supreme (tasted awful but it went down quick).

When i got to work i had my last coffee for the next 30 days...

for lunch i packed myself a turkey sandwich on wholewheat. I only used Dijon and some cucumbers for some variety to the sandwich. I also had several slices of cucumber, 2 beets and a small salad. I calculated my calories (www.fitday.com) and this was a 428 calorie meal. i am supposed to have 2 meals a day at 400-600 calories each.

So far I've managed to drink 56 oz out of the 80 oz i'm supposed to have. I ususally don't have too much difficulty drinking water.

So far, so good - i'm a little hungry but the water is curbing that a bit. I've also kept busy today so that I don't think about food or being hungry. It's been working.

I will be having a shake at 2:30 this afternoon. (I'm actually watching the clock right now) :)

Dinner will be around 5-5:30
We'll have Trout, basmati rice and broccoli

Tonight we're going to take my measurements and weight...they will be posted tomorrow so I can start to really see if this product will work.

See you.
